It has been a few weeks since I discovered the kindle gadget and the associated aspect of writing and publishing on it without any cost bar that of the application of your own sweat and tears...which is usually the lot of the writer anyway. I have listened to countless webinaires and learned heaps however, it is not quite my turn yet to make the big dollars.I need to decide what to put up and how it is to be marketed to give me gainful employment. Read dollars that appear regularly in my bank account! that would indeed be very nice. And that is in itself interesting because as one speaker I listened to only this morning said it has taken him "10 years" to reach this stage of earning a really decent income online. So I can see this is not a quick business model but one that will reward me for the work I put in.....as it should do. This is quite apart from the fact that in the space of only two weeks I have already manage to make a major mistake that could have caused me great angst but which luckily has turned out alright because the lawyer at the business involved was extremely nice and explained my mistake. Phew - it so easily could have been a premature ending to a budding career. It was all to do with the difference between trademarks and generic labels; and basically how and why I should or should not use them. I can dwell this later on if anyone is interested. I aim to publish my kindle books and articles up on this site and also to tell my hopefully, aspiring story of winning at last in this tangled spangled shiny web of the internet.
